TERMS & CONDITIONS – TUSAFIRI ADVENTURES

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by Tusafiri Adventures. By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings must be made in writing via email, website, or WhatsApp.
A booking is only confirmed after receipt of the required deposit.
Tusafiri Adventures reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

3. Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking.
The remaining 70% must be paid at least 14 days before the tour start date.
Bookings made within 14 days of the tour require full payment upfront.

Failure to complete payment on time may result in automatic cancellation without refund of the deposit.

4. Cancellation Policy (Strict)

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

More than 30 days before tour start:
Deposit is non-refundable. Any additional payments will be refunded.
15–30 days before tour start:
50% of total tour cost is non-refundable.
7–14 days before tour start:
75% of total tour cost is non-refundable.
Less than 7 days before tour / No-show:
100% of total tour cost is non-refundable.

This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, personal emergencies, visa issues, or flight delays.

5. Amendments & Rescheduling

Requests to change travel dates must be made at least 14 days in advance and are subject to availability.
Changes requested within 14 days of travel may be treated as cancellations and charged accordingly.

6. No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive on the agreed start date and time will be treated as a no-show. No refunds will be issued.

7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:

Valid passports and visas
Required vaccinations and health compliance
Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
Providing accurate personal information

Tusafiri Adventures is not responsible for any costs arising from failure to meet these requirements.

8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

Trip cancellation
Medical emergencies
Personal belongings

9. Pricing & Inclusions

All prices are quoted in agreed currency and include only the services specified in the itinerary.
Prices may change due to factors beyond our control (e.g., park fees, fuel costs, government regulations).
Confirmed bookings are generally protected unless external changes occur.

10. Changes by Tusafiri Adventures
We reserve the right to:

Modify itineraries when necessary due to weather, safety, or operational reasons
Substitute accommodations or services of equal standard

11. Force Majeure
Tusafiri Adventures shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters
Weather conditions
Government restrictions
Pandemics
Strikes or civil unrest

In such cases, alternative arrangements or credit may be offered at the company’s discretion.

12. Limitation of Liability
Tusafiri Adventures shall not be liable for:

Injury, illness, or death
Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
Delays or disruptions caused by third-party providers

Participation in all tours is at the client’s own risk.

13. Third-Party Providers
We work with third-party service providers (lodges, transport, guides). While carefully selected, we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

14. Complaints
Any complaints must be reported immediately during the tour so that reasonable steps can be taken to resolve the issue.

15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be subject to Tanzanian courts.

16. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking and payment, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
