Day 1 — Arusha to Tarangire National Park

A Refined Welcome to Tanzania

Meet your Tusafiri representative or safari guide in Arusha and begin your journey towards Tarangire National Park. Subject to your arrival time and the confirmed arrangements, your safari may begin with a game drive on the first day.

Explore the park's baobab-studded scenery and search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Later, continue to your selected premium lodge for dinner and an evening of relaxation.

Day 4 — Serengeti National Park

A Deeper Serengeti Experience

Spend another full day in the Serengeti, with the freedom to focus on wildlife photography, quieter corners of the park, or areas where recent sightings offer particularly promising opportunities.

For an additional charge, a hot-air balloon safari may be arranged where available. The experience typically begins before sunrise and may be followed by a bush breakfast, subject to the operator's arrangements.

Return to camp for dinner and an evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

​Day 7 — Karatu to Arusha

A Relaxed Farewell to Tanzania

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to Arusha or your agreed departure point. If time and arrangements permit, additional activities or a relaxed lunch can be incorporated into the schedule.

Your Tusafiri team will coordinate the agreed transfer, bringing your private luxury safari to a comfortable conclusion.

Day 2 — Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Across Tanzania's Wild Heart

After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro highlands towards the Serengeti. The journey takes you through changing landscapes before opening onto the vast plains of one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations.

Enjoy wildlife viewing along the route where conditions permit, then continue to your luxury tented camp for an afternoon game drive or time to settle in, depending on arrival time.

Day 5 — Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Highlands

Enjoy a final morning of wildlife viewing before departing the Serengeti for the Ngorongoro highlands.

Travel through scenic landscapes and arrive at your selected premium lodge. The cooler highland environment provides a contrasting setting after several days on the plains.

Spend the evening at leisure, preparing for the following day's crater excursion.

​Day 3 — Serengeti National Park

A Private Day on the Plains

Set out with your private guide to explore the Serengeti. Search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and the many herbivores that roam these plains.

Your guide will shape the day's route around recent sightings and seasonal wildlife patterns. Enjoy a picnic in the wilderness or return to camp for lunch if your chosen property and schedule allow.

​Day 6 — Ngorongoro Crater and Karatu

An Extraordinary Natural Sanctuary

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for an extended game drive. The crater's varied habitats support a remarkable diversity of wildlife, offering opportunities to look for lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and, with favorable conditions, the endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch and further exploration before leaving the crater and continuing to Karatu for your final safari night.
